Pro Riser Assembly


For The Pro Riser MK1.

Important, read all instructions before beginning.

The Pro Riser is designed for low speed, but precise raising and lowering. Never attempt to rapidly raise and lower the unit by using any device to turn the wheel, this can damage the unit.

Note: Pro Riser MK1 includes a 1/4 20 mounting screw for your camera, but does not include a quick release plate. Any images showing a quick release plate are for demo purposes only, and a release plate is not required to make full use of your Pro Riser MK1.

First, lay out the base and legs. Each side of the base should have tapped holes that align with the pre-installed screws.

Locate the access point for tightening screws, and slide the screw holder into position.

Carefully tighten screws, turning one full turn on each in an alternating pattern. Tightening one more than one turn at a time will cause the unit to strip the screw. Do not tighten yet.

Once the first leg is on, now slide on the column, being careful not to loose any screws, or tip over the unit. Have someone help hold if you believe it may tip over. Center, but do not tighten.

Now begin attaching the other leg, as you did the first. Do not tighten.

Tighten the rear of the unit.

With the column now secured and tightened, you may now tighten the legs. However, when doing so, you will want to gently push forward the column so that the legs self level. With slight pressure forward on the column, securely tighten all screws.

Reminder, always loosen slightly the rear lock when raising and lowering the unit. Not doing so will damage the unit. Keep in mind that there is a small amount of play within the slide, and it is normal for the camera to fully level out once the rea…

Now tighten the two screws on the top of the unit.

Now, with the unit secure, inspect each connection to ensure it is properly put together. As a reminder, do not back out the rear locking screw too far. Doing so will require you to re-attach the inner locking slide.
