Using a horsehair anti-static brush from the wonderful folks at Kinetronics Inc., we’ve machined a handheld brush that allows you to clean 4x5 film or your 4x5 ANR Glass or Acrylic from your 4x5 Film Holder in 2 passes, and 8x10 in 4 passes.

110 film is a unique, tiny format that was created by Kodak in 1972. It is essentially 126 that’s been shrunk down and rolled into miniature cassettes with continuous backing paper that shows the frame number. It doesn’t need to be rewound and is super simple to load and unload. It’s been used in everything from spy cameras to cameras that look like candy boxes. This format is something fun that doesn’t take itself too seriously and sometimes, that’s exactly what you need.

Utilizing a digital camera (DSLR, mirrorless, etc.) to capture your scans, most Basic Film Carrier 110 owners can utilize a digital camera they already own. Many modern digital cameras, from entry level to professional, will allow you to make beautiful film scans with this device.

Using the same technology as our Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2, the Basic Film Carrier 110 MK2 allows you to scan a full length roll of film in as fast as two minutes. Building off the wide ecosystem of Negative Supply film scanning tools, this device is the perfect starting point for photographers of all skill levels.
