The Archivist Kit for 35mm, 120, 4×5 and 8×10 Film Scanning is the epitome of what Negative Supply can offer. This kit is for users, museums and institutions who have a wide variety of film types, including single cut frames, cut strips or uncut rolls of film, unmounted negatives, mounted slides/transparencies of various sizes, as well as 4×5 and 8×10 sheet film. This kit is expandable to odd formats such as 4×10, 5×7, 6×24cm, Type 55 and more. This kit can also accommodate reflective media like prints and documents up to 20×25 inches.
Including our Pro Riser Studio Copy Stand, this all-new stand features a maximum scanning height of nearly 49 inches, allowing scanning of 8×10 film with up to a 105mm macro lens. This stand also features a telescopic head with a larger camera mounting area, a 29.35in x 24in steel baseboard with built in leveling feet and additional mounting points for forthcoming accessories, a precision hand crank with geared mechanism for raising and lowering your camera. This stand supports even the largest and heaviest camera/lens setups.
This kit also includes our all-new Pro Film Carrier 8×10. Featuring a precision CNC machined aluminum construction with a proprietary floating hinge design, this system ensures absolute film flatness for all film thicknesses, and scans 100% of the image area + full rebate/border for all sizes up to 8×10 inches. Optional single frame format masks are available for nearly all film sizes from 35mm single frame to 6x6, 6x7, and even 6x12cm with the optional Single Frame Adapter Mask and natively for formats such as 4×10, 5×7, Type 55, 6×17cm, 6×24cm and more.

The Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 supports half frame, standard 35mm, and panoramic formats and includes both our 35mm Full Border Scanning Cassette and Standard Cassette. Our full border cassettes that allow you to scan beyond the sprocket holes almost out to the very edge of the negative. The Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2 supports all standard 120 formats with masks from 6x4.5cm up to 6x9cm and also includes our 120 Full Border Scanning Cassette with it’s own complement of masks.

The Pro Riser Studio is capable of scanning 8x10 film with up to a 105mm macro lens. With our optional Single Frame Adapter Mask and optional Single Frame ANR masks there are solutions for nearly any film type you will ever encounter.

Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2: This is our choice for 35mm film carriers. Not only does it feature a metal design with interchangeable internal cassettes and roller modules but it also comes with guides to scan standard 35mm negatives, panoramic negatives and half frame negatives. Smooth and consistent film advance is guaranteed with your CNC machined aluminum film advance knob. Scans full rolls or strips of 35mm film with ease.
Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2: Empowering you to scan a roll of 120 film in as fast as 60 seconds (or faster), the Pro Film Carrier 120 MK2 is one of our best offerings. Allowing full size scans of 6x4.5, 6x6 6x7, and 6x9 film all with included masks and ensuring sharpness with our double s-curve design. This tool guarantees sharp, consistent, and fast scanning results. Scans full rolls or strips of 120 film with ease.
Pro Film Carrier 8x10: The Pro Film Carrier 8x10 utilizes a floating hinge mechanism with ANR glass in an anodized, machined aluminum frame making 8x10 film scanning a breeze. Expandable to various 35mm, 120 and other sheet film formats with masks sold separately.
