This scanning hood securely mounts to your Pro Film Carrier 4×5 and reduces glare when scanning in well lit rooms, helping to reduce ambient light glare/bleed and increasing contrast in scans. If you have a room with plenty of window light or if you have a room with lots of overhead lights, this hood will prevent excess light from bleeding onto your scans.

This hood is fixed to your Pro Film Carrier 4×5 with four integrated magnets, making it easy to quickly pop on and off when the hinge of the carrier is open. This hood will not fall off on accident, but it’s also easy to quickly remove when necessary.


This hood is only compatible with the Pro Film Carrier 4×5 and not the Basic 4×5 Sheet Film Scanning Kit.
