Our current Basic 4×5 Sheet Film Scanning Kit serves its purpose as an inexpensive, easy to use, basic 4×5 holder but for many years now we’ve been asked for something more. We are proud to introduce our new Pro Film Carrier 4x5! This holder is the culmination of years of feedback and R&D. Featuring an all CNC machined chassis, ANR glass and a proprietary floating hinge design, this is sure to become a staple for users wanting a premium product with zero compromises in use.
The Pro Film Carrier 4×5 builds on the modularity of our system by not only featuring hinged design for easier and faster 4×5 film scanning but also optional Pro Film Carrier 4x5 Multi Format Masks for strips and single cut 35mm and 120 film. This makes the Pro Film Carrier 4×5 the most universal carrier we’ve ever offered! Now, you can scan up to 6×12 with a single capture.
If you’re using either our 4×5 Light Source Basic MK2 or 4×5 Light Source Pro MK2 then you will also need our required Pro Film Carrier 4×5 Light Source Adapter.

Our Pro Film Carrier 4x5 is a leap in large format and single frame film scanning. Taking feedback from our customers, we knew a hinged design with interchangeable mask sets for single cut negatives of all varieties from 35mm up to 6x12 was an absolute must. This film carrier was designed with zero compromises. It uses a CNC machined frame and knobs, ANR glass and flush mounted magnets for a premium product and absolute film flatness. This could be your only film carrier. It is designed for single frames, sheets, strips and rolls!
Make sure you get the correct Light Source Adapter for your application! This is a required accessory to use the Pro Film Carrier 4x5.
